Pakistan fast bowler Salman Mirza revealed he has worked a lot with bowling coach Ashley Noffke to improve his effectiveness and perform consistently across different conditions.

Mirza has become a regular face in the T20I squad after enjoying a great start to his career in the shortest format.

So far, he has claimed 16 wickets in 11 T20Is at an average of 16.56 and an economy rate of 6.36.

Mirza took part in Pakistan’s T20I series against South Africa and picked up four wickets in two games at an average of 7.50 and an economy rate of 3.75.

As for the T20I tri-series against Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe, the 31-year-old from Lahore finished with four wickets in four matches at an average of 25.25 and an economy rate of 7.12.

“I’ve worked a lot with our bowling coach, Ash (Ashley Noffke), on how to bowl effectively according to the conditions and how to execute our plans properly,” Salman was quoted as saying by A Sports.

Most recently, Mirza was involved in the President’s Cup Grade-I (1-Day) tournament, but went wicketless in both the matches he played for Oil & Gas Development Company Limited.
