Pakistan opening batsman Imam-ul-Haq is working on increasing his scoring options as he has “developed some new shots.”

Imam has been in phenomenal form lately, especially in the ongoing Quaid-e-Azam Trophy (QeA Trophy), where he has accumulated 270 runs in three matches for Multan Region, which includes a century and a fifty, at an average of 54.

He also recently featured in Pakistan’s two-Test series against South Africa and made 119 runs, which included a top score of 93, at an average of 29.75.

“Whether it’s white-ball or red ball cricket, I’ve developed some new shots,” the 29-year-old was quoted as saying on X, formerly known as Twitter.

After the Test series, which ended as a 1-1 draw, Pakistan defeated South Africa 2-1 in both the T20Is and ODIs.

They continued their winning streak by whitewashing Sri Lanka 3-0 in an ODI series.

Pakistan are currently participating in a T20I tri-series against Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe, which will end on November 29.
