Pakistan batsman Mohammad Haris said he relishes the idea of facing three fast bowlers in particular – India’s Jasprit Bumrah, Australia’s Pat Cummins, and England’s Mark Wood.
All three of them are known for their raw pace, ability to swing the ball, and wicket-taking capabilities.
Haris conceded that he “might be under a little pressure”, but reiterated that he would want to test his skills against the trio as they are among the world’s best speedsters.
“I might be under a little pressure but want to face Pat Cummins, Mark Wood and Jasprit Bumrah,” the 24-year-old was quoted as saying by journalist Arfa Feroz Zake on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Haris recently featured in a T20I tri-series against the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Afghanistan in Sharjah, where he scored 33 runs in five matches at an average of 6.60 and a strike-rate of 84.61.
He then played in the 2025 Asia Cup, where he amassed 131 runs in seven matches, which included a top score of 66, at an average of 21.83 and a strike-rate of 133.67.
Pakistan are now hosting South Africa for two Tests, three T20Is, and three ODIs.
