Pakistan wicketkeeper-batsman Sarfaraz Ahmed has named T20I captain Salman Ali Agha, Saud Shakeel, Haris Rauf, Shaheen Shah Afridi and Naseem Shah as “power-hitters and rising stars”.
All five talented players have demonstrated their batting prowess, with Rauf, Afridi, and Naseem also shining consistently with the ball.
Sarfaraz emphasized the importance of continuing to support those players, as they bring significant value to the men in green.
“The team also has power-hitters and rising stars – Saud Shakeel is in great form, Salman Ali Agha is playing well, Haris Rauf is there, Shaheen Shah Afridi is leading the pace attack, and Naseem Shah bring additional strength,” Sarfaraz told Cricket Pakistan.
Pakistan recently took part in the 2025 Asia Cup, where they managed to make it to the final before suffering a five-wicket loss at the hands of India.
The men in green will be back in action soon as they will host South Africa for two Tests, three T20Is, and three ODIs, which will take place from October 12 to November 8.
