Pakistan fast bowler Ali Raza has made it clear that he has no issues with his eyes and is fully healthy.

His comments come after rumours surfaced that he was dealing with an eye condition.

Raza is one of the most promising cricketers in the country as he is just 17 years old and has taken so many wickets in domestic cricket on a consistent basis.

This trend continued during the 2025 Pakistan Super League (PSL), where he claimed 12 wickets in nine matches for the Peshawar Zalmi at an average of 25.25 and an economy rate of 9.18.

“I am relying on my hard work and self-belief. I am fully fit and have no issues with my eyes,” Raza was quoted as saying by Geo Super.

Since Raza hasn’t made his international debut yet, he was not picked for Pakistan’s three-match T20I series against Bangladesh in Lahore.

After this, the men in green travelled to Bangladesh for another three-match T20I series, which they lost 2-1.

Most recently, Pakistan toured the West Indies and came away with mixed results as they won the T20I series 2-1 but lost the ODIs 2-1.
