Pakistan left-arm seamer Shaheen Shah Afridi has revealed that he wants to clean bowl compatriot Babar Azam and the Australian duo of Steve Smith and David Warner in this year’s Big Bash League (BBL).

Afridi was asked which one of the three he would prefer to get out, but responded by saying he would enjoy dismissing all of them.

His comments come after he was chosen by the Brisbane Heat with the first pick in the draft for BBL 15.

It should be noted that Azam and Smith will represent the Sydney Sixers, while Warner will play for the Sydney Thunder.

“I think for me, all three. I don’t say one, but all three. I will be the one enjoying it. It’s more celebration then in front of them,” the 25-year-old said in a video uploaded by the BBL.

After PSL 10, Pakistan faced Bangladesh in a three-match T20I series, but Afridi was not selected.

He was also overlooked for the tour of Bangladesh, where Pakistan lost the T20I series 2-1.

Pakistan are now touring the West Indies and Afridi made his T20I comeback in the three-match series, taking two wickets in two games at an average of 29 and an economy rate of 7.25.

As for the ODI series, which the West Indies won 2-1, Afridi continued to be in good form, claiming four wickets in two matches at an average of 21.50.
