Former Pakistan captain Sarfaraz Ahmed has called batsmen Khawaja Nafay and Haseebullah Khan “impactful players”.
Sarfaraz’s comments come after he worked with the Quetta Gladiators as their team director for the 2025 Pakistan Super League (PSL).
Both Nafay and Haseebullah played for the Gladiators, with the former making 52 runs in two games, which included a top score of 51, at an average of 26 and a strike-rate of 173.33.
As for Haseebullah, he struck seven runs in the one match he played.
“We had impactful players on the side this season, Khawaja Nafay and Haseebullah Khan,” Sarfaraz was quoted as saying by A Sports.
After PSL 10 ended, Pakistan went up against Bangladesh in a three-match T20I series and triumphed 3-0.
The men in green then toured Bangladesh, but couldn’t replicate their success as they lost the T20I series 2-1.
Pakistan are now touring the West Indies for three T20Is and three ODIs.
They won the T20I series 2-1.
The three-match ODI series will get underway on August 9 in Trinidad.
