Pakistan big-hitting batsman Fakhar Zaman said everyone knows left-arm seamer Mohammad Amir’s class as he is a “top-quality bowler”.

Zaman noted that what makes Amir so impressive is his ability to excel “in all conditions”.

The 33-year-old has been a real threat with the ball lately and had a strong campaign in the 2025 Pakistan Super League (PSL).

In the nine matches he played, he took 13 wickets at an average of 18.07 and an economy rate of 7.79.

“Everyone knows Amir’s class – he is a top-quality bowler who performs well in all conditions,” Zaman was quoted as saying by Geo Super.

Following PSL 10, Amir was not picked for Pakistan’s three-match T20I series against Bangladesh as he has retired from international cricket.

Zaman did feature in that series and made one run in the one match he played.

Pakistan are now touring Bangladesh for a three-match T20I series and find themselves 2-0 down at the moment.

Zaman was included in the playing XI for both games and struck 52 runs at an average of 26 and a strike-rate of 123.80.

The 3rd T20I between Pakistan and Bangladesh will take place on July 24 in Mirpur.
