Pakistan pace bowler Naseem Shah has admitted that he finds it tough to bowl to England big-hitter Jos Buttler in ODIs and T20Is.
Buttler is renowned for being one of the most dangerous power-hitters in the sport as he has the ability to win games single-handedly, and has done so on numerous occasions.
Naseem knows the 34-year-old always poses a huge threat and is aware that he has to be on top of his game when going up against him.
“Recently, I feel Jos Buttler is a tough batter in white-ball cricket,” he was quoted as saying by NDTV.
Naseem recently represented Pakistan in their three-match ODI series against New Zealand and took three wickets at an average of 38.
He then played for Islamabad United in the 2025 Pakistan Super League (PSL) and claimed nine wickets in 10 games at an average of 40.33 and an economy rate of 9.30.
After PSL 10, Naseem was picked for Pakistan’s three-match T20I series against Bangladesh, but wasn’t included in the playing XI for any of the games.
The men in green won the series 3-0.
Pakistan’s next assignment will be a three-match T20I series against Bangladesh, which will take place in Mirpur from July 20 to 24.
This time, however, Naseem was left out of the team.
