Pakistan power-hitter Fakhar Zaman has selected England speedster Jofra Archer as the toughest bowler to face, especially with the new ball.
Archer is known for being one of the fastest bowlers in international cricket at the moment as he was clocked at speeds of 154 kph.
Having faced the lethal seamer, Zaman conceded that the 30-year-old is above anyone else when it comes to the most difficult new ball bowlers to play against.
“I can tell you according to the conditions. But I feel it was difficult to face Jofra Archer with the new ball,” he was quoted as saying by NDTV.
Zaman missed Pakistan’s limited overs tour of New Zealand since he was recovering from an injury, but returned to represent the Lahore Qalandars in the 2025 Pakistan Super League (PSL), where he finished as the second-highest run-scorer with 439 runs in 13 matches, which included four fifties, at an average of 33.76 and a strike-rate of 152.96.
Following this, he featured in Pakistan’s three-match T20I series against Bangladesh and scored one run in the one game he played.
The men in green went on to win the series 3-0.
