Pakistan batsman Hasan Nawaz is confident that he can score more hundreds in T20I cricket after doing it against New Zealand.

In only his third T20I for his country, the 22-year-old smashed 105 not out off 45 balls, which included 10 boundaries and seven sixes.

He finished the five-match series with 106 runs at an average of 26.50 and a strike-rate of 185.96.

With one T20I century to his name, Nawaz, who hails from Islamabad, is eager to do it again.

“If fate allows it, I can get to the milestone again,” he was quoted as saying by A Sports.

Following the tour of New Zealand, Hasan represented the Quetta Gladiators in the 2025 Pakistan Super League (PSL) and finished as the third-highest run-scorer with 399 runs in 12 matches, which included a century and three fifties, at an average of 57 and a strike-rate of 162.19.

He is now involved in Pakistan’s three-match T20I series against Bangladesh and has amassed 95 runs in two games, which includes a top score of 51 not out, at an average of 95 and a strike-rate of 197.91.

The 3rd T20I will be held on June 1 in Lahore.
