Pakistan opening batsman Awais Zia said the pace duo of Wahab Riaz and Mohammad Sami were extremely fast as the bowled at speeds of 145 kph.
Wahab and Sami were both outstanding bowlers who took plenty of wickets as they utilised their swing, lethal bounce, and toe-crushing yorkers.
In addition to the duo, Awais added that Mohammad Talha was also rapid as he was capable of bowling over 140 kph.
“I have been facing bowlers in the domestic circuit who bowl at 145 kph like Wahab Riaz, (Mohammad) Sami bhai, and many others like Mohammad Talha at that time, who also bowled 140 plus kph,” he told PakPassion.
The Pakistan team recently took on New Zealand and South Africa in an ODI tri-series, and lost to the Black Caps in the final.
The men in green will now be involved in the 2025 Champions Trophy, which will take place from February 19 to March 9.
