Former Pakistan cricketer Faisal Iqbal has picked batsman Muhammad Riazullah as a young talent to watch out for.
Riazullah, who is just 17 years old, was recently in action in the Asian Cricket Council Under-19s Asia Cup and finished as the third-highest run-scorer with 227 runs in four matches, which included a century and a fifty, at an average of 75.66.
He also featured in the Champions T20 Cup, but only scored seven runs in the one game he played for the Dolphins.
Having shown an immense amount of potential, Faisal is excited to see what Riazullah will accomplish going forward.
“Another young batter rising Riazullah,” he said on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Pakistan recently toured Australia, Zimbabwe and South Africa before returning home to take on the West Indies in a two-Test series.
Currently, the men in green are involved in an ODI tri-series against New Zealand and South Africa.
After this, Pakistan will feature in the 2025 Champions Trophy, which will be held from February 19 to March 9.
