Pakistan batsman Sahibzada Farhan said he has been a top performer in domestic cricket for the past three to four years and deserves more opportunities at the international level.

So far, the 28-year-old has represented the men in green in eight T20Is and scored 82 runs at an average of 10.25.

Most recently, he was involved in the three-match T20I series against Australia and made 22 runs in three games at an average of 7.33.

While he hasn’t been able to live up to expectations in international cricket thus far, Farhan hopes to see more chances come his way in the near future.

“For the past three or four years, I’ve been one of the top performers in domestic cricket, and if given the opportunity, I’ll perform well,” he was quoted as saying by Cricket Pakistan.

The men in green are now in Zimbabwe and won a three-match ODI series 2-1.

Next up for Pakistan will be a three-match T20I series against Zimbabwe, which will get underway on December 1 in Bulawayo.
