Legendary Pakistan all-rounder Shahid Afridi has praised the spin duo of Noman Ali and Sajid Khan for letting their skills do the talking during the recent three-Test series against England.
Called up ahead of the second Test, the duo wreaked havoc as they bamboozled the England batsmen time and time again.
Both players featured in the second and third Tests, with Noman taking 20 wickets, which included two five-wicket hauls, at an average of 13.85.
As for Sajid, he finished with 19 wickets, which also included two five-fors, at an average of 21.10.
Thanks to them, Pakistan beat England 2-1 and secured their first Test series win at home since 2021.
“Noman and Sajid let their skills speak volumes, spinning webs around England’s line-up,” Afridi said on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Following the England series, Pakistan travelled to Australia and played three ODIs, which they won 2-1 to claim their first ODI series win in the country since 2002.
The two sides then faced each other in a three-match T20I series, which Australia won 3-0.
Pakistan’s next assignment will be a white-ball tour of Zimbabwe, where they will play three ODIs and three T20Is from November 24 to December 5.
