Misbah-ul-Haq: “Even Bangladesh has a pacer who’s bowling at 145 kph consistently. We need to find pacers in Pakistan who can also bowl at that pace, I’m sure there are pacers in our domestic cricket, and we need to polish them”

Former Pakistan captain Misbah-ul-Haq has acknowledged the need to find 145 kph fast bowlers in the country who can be groomed and go on to play for the national team.
Many of the current fast bowlers in the Pakistan squad have seen their bowling speeds decrease as of late, which has raised questions as to why it is happening.
Misbah noted that if countries like Bangladesh can produce top-quality pacers who can bowl 145 kph, then there should be such talents in Pakistan, especially in domestic cricket.
“Even Bangladesh has a pacer who’s bowling at 145 kph consistently. We need to find pacers in Pakistan who can also bowl at that pace, I’m sure there are pacers in our domestic cricket, and we need to polish them,” he was quoted as saying by journalist Farid Khan on X, formerly known as Twitter.
The Pakistan team recently faced Bangladesh in a two-Test series and suffered a shock 2-0 loss.
Many of the players are now taking part in the Champions One-Day Cup, which is a domestic 50-over competition being played in Faisalabad.
The men in green’s next assignment will be a three-Test series against England, which is set to be played from October 7 to 28.
