Pakistan wicketkeeper-batsman Rohail Nazir believes his temperament, fitness and overall performance are what sets him apart from Mohammad Haris, Azam Khan and Haseebullah Khan.

Nazir is trying to break into the national team and remains confident that he is good enough to represent his country in all three formats.

Most recently, the 22-year-old from Islamabad scored 100 runs in five matches for Khan Research Laboratories in the President’s Cup Grade-I (1-Day) tournament at an average of 25.

“I think my temperament is very good. I have performed at every level, so I believe I can play in all three formats. I believe in my fitness and work a lot on it. This is my belief,” he told Cricket Pakistan.

Nazir was not involved in the 2024 T20 World Cup, where the men in green were knocked out in the group stage.

He also hasn’t been named in Pakistan’s team for the two-Test series against Bangladesh, which will be played in Rawalpindi and Karachi from August 21 to September 3.
