Shahid Afridi: “I think in any cricket team in the world, nobody has such a strong bowling line-up. All our four fast bowlers have a lot of skill”

Former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi has lauded Shaheen Shah Afridi, Naseem Shah, Haris Rauf and Mohammad Amir, saying all four fast bowlers “have a lot of skill”.
Shahid also believes that Pakistan have the strongest bowling line-up in the world as all the speedsters are talented individuals who can win matches.
“I think in any cricket team in the world, nobody has such a strong bowling line-up. All our four fast bowlers have a lot of skill,” Afridi was quoted as saying by Cricket Pakistan.
All four players recently took part in the 2024 T20 World Cup, with Amir claiming seven wickets in four matches at an average of 10.28 and an economy rate of 4.50.
Rauf also picked up seven wickets in four games, but at an average of 14.42 and an economy rate of 6.73.
As for Naseem, he claimed five wickets in three matches at an average of 14.20 and an economy rate of 5.91.
Afridi, meanwhile, finished with five wickets in four games at an average of 21 and an economy rate of 6.56.
Pakistan began with back-to-back losses to the United States of America and India before rebounding to defeat Canada and Ireland.
Despite winning those two games, the men in green were unable to progress to the Super Eights.
