Legendary South Africa batsman AB de Villiers defended Pakistan limited overs captain Babar Azam from an internet troll who made fun of his ability to speak English.
De Villiers noted that Azam’s “English is infinitely better than my Urdu”.
He added that the 29-year-old is an excellent batsman as well, “which is what matters more”.
“His English is infinitely better than my Urdu. And his batting is excellent, which is what matters more, I believe,” De Villiers said on his YouTube channel as quoted by NDTV.
