Pakistan wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan once again topped the charts as the most fittest player in the national team.

During a yo-yo test that was conducted during the pre-season camp at the National Cricket Academy in Lahore, Rizwan scored 19.2 points, according to arysports.tv.

He narrowly beat batsmen Shan Masood and Asad Shafiq, who both attained a score of 19.1.

Rizwan was also the fittest player during the fitness test that was held for 23 players ahead of the announcement of Pakistan’s World Cup squad as he scored 20 points.

Masood was also the joint-second fittest player as he and pace bowler Hasan Ali both posted scores of 19.

A total of 20 players have been named for the camp, including Rizwan, Masood, Shadiq, Hasan, Sarfraz Ahmed, Imam-ul-Haq, Azhar Ali, Abid Ali, Haris Sohail, Shadab Khan, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Wahab Riaz, Usman Shinwari and Yasir Shah.

Hasan sought permission from the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to skip the fitness tests since he got married to Samiya Arzoo in Dubai on Tuesday.

The other six players participating in the camp are Asif Ali, Bilal Asif, Mir Hamza, Rahat Ali, Iftikhar Ahmed and Zafar Gohar.
