Umar Gul makes incredibly shocking claim about the Pakistan Cricket Board and selectors

Umar Gul doesn't think the PCB and national selectors will do anything to prepare Pakistan for the 2023 World Cup cricket

Umar Gul: “The PCB and selectors will make tall claims and start giving statements that we will prepare the team for the next four years keeping the 2023 World Cup [in mind], but in reality, they will do nothing”

Pakistan pace bowler Umar Gul believes that the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and selectors will “do nothing” in ensuring that the national team are well-prepared for the 2023 World Cup.

Gul’s comments come after Pakistan were eliminated from the World Cup on Friday.

Pakistan won five games, lost three and had one washed out, but even though they triumphed in their last four matches in the tournament, they failed to qualify for the semi-finals since New Zealand had a better net run rate than them.

However, instead of preparing the team for the next World Cup, which will be held in India, Gul thinks the board and national selectors will do absolutely nothing.

“Now the World Cup is over and once again the PCB and selectors will make tall claims and start giving statements that we will prepare the team for the next four years keeping the 2023 World Cup [in mind], but in reality, they will do nothing,” Gul told The Nation.
