Former Pakistan wicketkeeper-batsman Moin Khan believes that the national team have not done that badly at the World Cup.

Moin’s surprising comments come as Pakistan face a near impossible situation of qualifying for the semi-finals as they need to beat Bangladesh by over 300 runs in their clash at Lord’s on Friday.

Despite the uphill battle they face, Moin feels that the men in green’s campaign has not been disastrous.

“Look if we win against Bangladesh, we [will] end the World Cup with five wins out of nine with one match abandoned, which is not a bad performance by my standards,” he was quoted as saying by mykhel.com. “So, whatever the PCB (Pakistan Cricket Board) does, it needs to think very carefully because just changing faces or positions will not help.”
