Pakistan opener Imam-ul-Haq has made it clear that he isn’t treating his side’s highly-anticipated World Cup clash against India any differently from other games.

Pakistan will play India on June 16 in Manchester, and the men in green will be looking to snap their winless streak against their arch-rivals as India have triumphed in their six World Cup meetings to date.

However, Pakistan can take confidence from the fact that they demolished India by 180 runs in the Champions Trophy final in 2017.

Despite Pakistan’s lacklustre record against India in the World Cup, Imam reiterated that he won’t be preparing for the game in any special way.

“For me all teams are equal, the India-Pakistan match is a bigger match for the world but for me to prepare for the India game is not different from preparing for Afghanistan’s game because all the teams in the World Cup are top level teams,” Imam was quoted as saying by The News International.

Pakistan’s next World Cup match will be against Australia in Taunton on Wednesday.
