Former New Zealand pace bowler and well-known commentator Simon Doull has admitted that it is so enjoyable to watch Pakistan play as they are so unpredictable.

The ongoing World Cup perfectly proves Doull’s point as Pakistan began in disastrous fashion as they were skittled out for 105 against the West Indies en route to a seven-wicket loss.

However, the men in green bounced back brilliantly against England, who are among the favourites to win the tournament, as they defeated the World Cup hosts by 14 runs in Nottingham on Monday.

“That’s the beauty of this wonderful game we play and love and watch and have the privilege to talk about, there is no certainty – Pakistan were bowled out for 105 in their first game and then they go and beat the tournament favourites in their own backyard,” Doull was quoted as saying by Saj Sadiq on Twitter.

Pakistan will be looking to secure their second win in their next World Cup match, which will be against Sri Lanka in Bristol on Friday.
