Former Pakistan all-rounder Shahid Afridi has admitted that captain Sarfraz Ahmed should be batting higher up the order.
Sarfraz has batted at a number of different positions before, but recently said that he wanted to come in at four or five during the World Cup.
Afridi agreed with this, saying that the national team will benefit if Sarfraz bats up the order.
“I have always said that Sarfraz batting at the top will be beneficial for the Pakistan cricket team,” he told Geo.tv.
Pakistan will kick off their World Cup campaign against the West Indies in Nottingham on May 31.
