Mitchell Marsh was fined 20 percent of his match fee and handed a demerit point

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has fined Australia all-rounder Mitchell Marsh 20 percent of his match fee for using inappropriate language towards South Africa pace bowler Kagiso Rabada.
The incident occurred after Marsh was clean bowled by Rabada for 45 on the fourth day of the second Test in Port Elizabeth.
Upon being dismissed, Marsh swore at Rabada, who went on to take six wickets and set up South Africa’s six-wicket win, which levelled the series at 1-1.

As a result of his actions, Marsh was charged with breaching Article 2.1.4 of the ICC Code of Conduct, which relates to “using language or gesture that is obscene, offensive or insulting during an International Match”.
Since Marsh accepted the charge and sanctions, there will be no need for a formal hearing.
