The Delhi Daredevils have signed Australia pace bowler Ben Hilfenhaus as a replacement for South Africa all-rounder JP Duminy.

Duminy pulled out of the Indian Premier League (IPL) due to personal reasons and the Daredevils opted to pick Hilfenhaus due to his strong performance in the Big Bash League (BBL), where he took 12 wickets in nine matches at an average of 20.75.

With his 12 wickets, Hilfenhaus was the Melbourne Stars’ second-highest wicket-taker behind Scott Boland, who claimed 14 scalps.

Meanwhile, the Royal Challengers Bangalore have brought in wicketkeeper-batsman Vishnu Vinod as a replacement for Lokesh Rahul, who was ruled out of the IPL with a shoulder injury.

As for the Rising Pune Supergiants, they have signed all-rounder Washington Sundar after losing spinner Ravichandran Ashwin to a sports hernia.
