First it was Kyle Abbott, Rilee Rossouw and David Wiese, and now it seems that Marchant de Lange could be the next South African player to sign a Kolpak deal.

According to Rapport, De Lange, who is a pace bowler that has represented the Proteas in two Tests, four ODIs and six Twenty20 Internationals, is currently in talks with Glamorgan.

In fact, it has been reported that negotiations between the two parties are at an “advanced stage”.

If the 26-year-old does end up joining Glamorgan on a Kolpak deal, he will become the latest South Africa player to do so as Abbott and Rossouw signed with Hampshire, while Wiese joined Sussex.

De Lange last represented South Africa in an ODI against England in February 2016, but he has not played Test cricket since March 2012 and Twenty20 cricket since October 2015.
