Pakistan left-arm seamer Mohammad Irfan has flown back home following the death of his mother.
Irfan, who was selected for the upcoming five-match ODI series against Australia, is expected to miss the first few games of the series.
Pakistan have yet to confirm whether they will call up a replacement for the 34-year-old, who has not played ODI cricket since September last year.
With Irfan back home, Pakistan still have four pace bowlers – Mohammad Amir, Wahab Riaz, Rahat Ali and Hasan Ali – to choose from.
The tourists will be looking to bounce back in the ODI series after they were whitewashed 3-0 in the recently concluded Test series.
