New Zealand opener Martin Guptill and captain Kane Williamson amassed the highest partnership in Twenty20 International history to crush Pakistan by 10 wickets and level the series at 1-1.
Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi would have been mulling over his decision to bat first as Umar Akmal and Shoaib Malik were the only two batsmen to make major contributions with the bat.
Akmal smashed an unbeaten 56, which came off 27 balls and included four boundaries and four sixes, while Malik made 39. Thanks to the duo, Pakistan finished on 168/7 off their 20 overs.

Mitchell McClenaghan was the pick of the bowlers with two wickets, while Mitchell Santner, Corey Anderson, Adam Milne and Grant Elliott chipped in with one wicket apiece.
Chasing 169 to win, Guptill and Williamson looked to be in no trouble during their record-breaking stand of 171, during which both of them brought up their half-centuries.
In the end, Guptill ended up finishing on 87 off 58 balls, which included nine boundaries and four sixes, while Williamson remained undefeated on 72 off 48 deliveries, which included 11 boundaries.
Guptill was named Man of the Match.
