Heavy rain led to the second day of the one-off Test between Bangladesh and India in Fatullah being abandoned without a single ball bowled.

As a result, India openers Shikhar Dhawan and Murali Vijay remained undefeated on 150 and 89 respectively.

With only 56 overs of play on the first day and the forecast for the remaining days looking extremely grim, the chances of a result are highly unlikely.

Should the one-off Test end as a draw, India will fall to fourth on the International Cricket Council (ICC) Test team rankings, while Bangladesh will remain in ninth place.

India ended day two on 239/0 and will continue batting tomorrow at 09:30 local time or 03:30 GMT.
