Dalmiya is on a mission to remove every last remnant of the previous regime

Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) president Jagmohan Dalmiya has axed media manager Dr RN Baba and logistics manager MA Satish.

The decision was taken by Dalmiya as he wants to rid the national team of the previous regime, which was headed by Narayanaswami Srinivasan.

Srinivasan, whose tenure as BCCI president ended in March, roped in Satish in 2011, while Baba has been with the Indian side since the World Twenty20 in 2012.

With Satish and Baba gone, Dalmiya has appointed Rishikesh Upadhyay as the logistics manager for India’s tour of Bangladesh, while administrative manager Biswarup Dey will take up the role of media manager as well.
