Pakistan captain Misbah-ul-Haq has become the first batsman to score 5,000 ODI runs without having registered a single century.
Ul-Haq achieved the feat during Pakistan’s impressive 29-run win over South Africa on March 7 in Auckland.
Despite being criticised for scoring too slowly on a regular basis, ul-Haq has been Pakistan’s anchor in numerous matches, including the one against South Africa, where he made 56.
As of right now, ul-Haq’s highest ODI score is 96 not out, which came against the West Indies in the 2013 Champions Trophy.
