Australia opener David Warner has become an author after writing a children’s book series called ‘Kaboom Kid’, which features the exploits and adventures of a “cricket-mad” schoolboy named Davey Warner.

As of right now, Warner and JS Black have written four books – ‘The Big Switch’, ‘Playing Up’, ‘Keep It Down’ and ‘Hit For Six’ – which will be going on sale very soon.

All the illustrations in the book have been done by Jules Faber.

According to publishers Simon & Schuster, this series is aimed at children between the ages of 7-12 and carries a strong anti-bullying and anti-sledging message.
