Pakistan all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez has failed his unofficial bowling test at Sri Ramachandra University in Chennai.

Due to this, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) still cannot apply for Hafeez to get his action officially re-tested.

Out of the 11 deliveries he bowled during the test, Hafeez was found to be flexing his elbow over the 15-degree limit for six of them.

While bowling over the wicket, Hafeez’s average elbow flex was 16 degrees. When he changed to round the wicket, two deliveries had 17 and 19 degrees of flex respectively.

Hafeez was reported for a suspect action after the first Test against New Zealand in Abu Dhabi and subsequently banned in December.
