The Melbourne Stars embarrassed their crosstown rivals, the Melbourne Renegades, by skittling them out for 57 during their 112-run win at the Docklands Stadium.
Renegades captain Aaron Finch would have been content with his decision to bowl first after Stars skipper Cameron White was caught behind off the bowling of Nicholas Winter for 22.
England batsman Luke Wright managed to make 39 runs before he was caught by Callum Ferguson at square leg off the bowling of Andre Russell.

David Hussey scored nine runs before he retired hurt after receiving a painful blow to the wrist when batting against Russell.
James Faulkner only made seven runs before he was caught by Russell at deep midwicket off the bowling of Dwayne Bravo.
Former England batsman Kevin Pietersen accumulated 25 runs before he was caught by Finch at cover off the bowling of Bravo.
Glenn Maxwell failed to have an impact with the bat as he was caught by Ferguson at deep square leg off the bowling of Bravo.
John Hastings mustered 14 runs before he was clean bowled by Winter.
Thanks to Tom Triffitt’s unbeaten knock of 22, the Stars finished on 169/6 off their 20 overs.
Bravo was the pick of the bowlers with three wickets, while Winter snapped up two and Russell chipped in with one.

Chasing 170 to win, the Renegades never got out of the starting blocks as their entire batting line-up crumbled. They were eventually put out of their misery when they were bowled out for a humiliating 57.
To add insult to injury, Tom Cooper was the Renegades’ top-scorer with 10 runs and was the only batsman to reach double figures.
Michael Beer, Jackson Bird and Scott Boland took two wickets apiece, while Maxwell, Faulkner and Hastings claimed one wicket each.
