Bangladesh have dropped all-rounder Nasir Hossain for the upcoming five-match ODI series against Zimbabwe, which gets underway on November 21 in Chittagong.
Instead, they have included uncapped leg-spinner Jubair Hossain and all-rounder Sabbir Rahman for the first two ODIs.
The national selectors have also handed another lifeline to left-arm spinner Arafat Sunny.
Meanwhile, this will be Mashrafe Mortaza’s first assignment as ODI captain after the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) decided to split the captaincy.
