Zimbabwe are interested in playing South Africa in August

Zimbabwe have declined Cricket South Africa’s offer to play a one-off Test match against the Proteas before their Test series against Australia gets underway on February 12.

All of Zimbabwe’s cricketers have gone on strike to protest against not receiving their wages, which has resulted in the country’s domestic league being suspended indefinitely.

Zimbabwe Cricket spokesman Lovemore Banda confirmed that the board had declined to play a one-off Test match against South Africa, but added that they were interested in playing a two-Test and limited overs series in August.
