Bailey smashed 28 runs off an over from Anderson
Australia batsman George Bailey has equalled legendary West Indian batsman Brian Lara’s record for the most runs scored off one over in a Test match.
Lara smashed 28 runs off an over from South Africa spinner Robin Peterson in 2003, while Bailey hammered the same number of runs off an over from England pace bowler James Anderson during the fourth day of the third Test in Perth.
Bailey smashed three sixes and two fours off the bowling of Anderson before Australia declared on 369/6, setting England a mammoth target of 504 to win.
