Pakistan Test captain Shan Masood has hinted at the idea of unleashing fast bowler Mohammad Wasim Jnr in the third Test against Australia in Sydney as his reverse swing “will be quite handy.”
Imad Wasim: “We had been saying for a while that Fakhar Zaman is an impact player. Similarly, when Abrar will play, he will make an impact as well”

Imad Wasim, who recently retired from international cricket, has urged Pakistan to include mystery spinner Abrar Ahmed in the ODI team as he is an “impact player” like opening batsman Fakhar Zaman.

Pakistan chief selector Haroon Rasheed said he has to see if veteran all-rounder Shoaib Malik can increase the national team’s chances of winning before recalling him.
Shoaib Malik: “Smart decision by Lala Shahid Afridi to use Sarfaraz Ahmed in [the] Test playing 11. I would suggest [him] to use him in ODIs too as he is very handy in the middle overs, as the next white-ball World Cup is around the corner”
