Pakistan red-ball head coach Jason Gillespie believes middle order batsman Salman Ali Agha is “good enough to be classified as a specialist spinner”.
Ramiz Raja: “Babar Azam’s batting against spin is problematic. He was batting well against pace but whenever spinners come on, he becomes static, whether it is leg-spin or off-spin”

Pakistan rising star Sajid Khan has said he hopes to learn much more from legendary spinner Saqlain Mushtaq.
Pakistan all-rounder Qasim Akram: “I wasn’t very good as a fast bowler so one of the coaches in my club advised me to take up off-spin as that would increase my chances of selection in teams in an all-rounder role. From then on, I became an off-spinner”

Pakistan all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez has said that he was available to bowl during the recent T20 series against England, but captain Babar Azam didn’t require his off-spin services.
Saqlain Mushtaq: “Ganguly also had an expertise against the off-spinners. He used to cut, inside-out, sweep against off-spinners. He would charge the bowler whenever he wanted. Dada was intelligent, brave and played good on the turning tracks”
