Renowned cricket commentator Harsha Bhogle believes Pakistan limited overs captain Babar Azam is twice as good if he has “a really good opening combination ahead of him.”
Fakhar Zaman: “This is my position in T20Is… But my position can change situation-wise. For example if wickets do not fall in the beginning, then I might go up. But my fixed position is number four”

Pakistan big-hitter Fakhar Zaman has confirmed that the number four spot is his “fixed position” on the batting order in T20Is.
Pakistan opener Fakhar Zaman: “There are many factors that shape up an aggressive opener: natural game, the mindset and the demand of the team. I think having an attacking mindset is of the utmost [importance]”

Fakhar Zaman, the Pakistan top order batsman, said the key to being an aggressive opener is to have “an attacking mindset”.
Azhar Mahmood: “We have not finalised who would be opening the inning. It (the opening pair) could be Babar-Saim, Saim-Rizwan and even Fakhar Zaman can also open the innings”

Pakistan assistant coach Azhar Mahmood has confirmed there is a possibility big-hitting batsman Fakhar Zaman could open the batting in T20Is.
Fakhar Zaman: “What impressed me the most is what Azam Khan has done. We were not expecting him to undergo such tough training, and naturally, his physique is such that we didn’t anticipate him to take up such challenges”

Pakistan top order batsman Fakhar Zaman heaped praise on big-hitter Azam Khan, saying he was surprised by his fitness levels during a pre-season camp at the Pakistan Military Academy in Kakul, Abbottabad.
Fakhar Zaman: “I have played Tests, ODIs, and T20s, and I have also batted with about 11 or 12 partners. The experience has been different in each format, but honestly, I enjoy batting the most with Babar Azam”
