Hong Kong will look to capitalise on their recent success when Scotland come to town in what will be the first-ever international series to be held in Asia’s World City.
The Braidwood Cup Series is set to begin with an ICC Intercontinental Cup four-day game, which will be held at Mission Road Ground from January 21-24, 2016. This will be followed by two ODIs on January 26 and 28, which will be part of the ICC World Cricket League Championship, and two Twenty20 Internationals on January 30 and 31.
The hosts have been in red-hot form as of late and enjoyed a lot of success during their tour of the United Arab Emirates in November last year. While in the UAE, Hong Kong demolished the UAE in a four-day game and both their ODIs. Despite suffering a setback during the following Twenty20 series against Oman, which they lost 2-1, Hong Kong bounced back to stun Afghanistan by four wickets in a thrilling one-off Twenty20 International.
Hong Kong are riding on a wave of momentum heading into the Braidwood Cup Series and will be looking to extend their superb run of form to prove that they really are a forced to be reckoned with.
