Pakistan mystery spinner Abrar Ahmed has revealed he is working on his fitness and batting in order to level up his game.

Abrar has become one of Pakistan’s go-to spinners in all three formats, but the 26-year-old is keen to start contributing in other areas as well.

“I’m working on my fitness and will also focus on improving my batting over the next six months,” he told Geo News.

Recently, Abrar was in action in the 2025 Pakistan Super League (PSL) and finished as the joint second-highest wicket-taker with 17 wickets in 12 matches for the Quetta Gladiators at an average of 19.23 and an economy rate of 7.34.

Following the conclusion of PSL 10, Pakistan took on Bangladesh in a three-match T20I series.

Abrar was picked for all the matches and claimed three wickets at an average of 27 and an economy rate of 8.10.

The men in green won the series 3-0.
