Former Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Ramiz Raja has predicted that mystery spinner Usman Tariq will become a millionaire very soon.
Ramiz’s bold forecast stems from the fact that Tariq has bowled to some of the best players in the world and “no one has been able to pick him.”
During the 2024 Pakistan Super League (PSL), he represented the Quetta Gladiators and took two wickets in five matches at an average of 71.50 and an economy rate of 7.33.
“This mystery spinner Usman Tariq will become a crorepati soon! I have never seen this talent in league cricket. He has bowled to top players in the world and no one has been able to pick him. He will play many more leagues soon,” Ramiz was quoted as saying by journalist Farid Khan on X, formerly known as Twitter.
It should be noted that Tariq was reported for a suspect action in PSL 9, but he was allowed to continue bowling.
