Persistent rain ruined the final of the T20 tri-series between Bangladesh and Afghanistan as both teams had to share the trophy after the match was washed out.

The rain started at 5pm local time, which was an hour before the match was scheduled to start at the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka.

Since it refused to relent, the umpires ultimately called the game off at 9pm.
