Former Pakistan captain Misbah-ul-Haq sent a heartwarming message to all-rounder Shoaib Malik after he retired from ODIs on Friday.
Malik bid farewell to the 50-over format after Pakistan’s 94-run World Cup win over Bangladesh at Lord’s.
Malik was given a guard of honour by the Pakistan team as he left the field for the last time in an ODI.
The 37-year-old had announced prior to the World Cup that he would bring his ODI career to an end after the tournament.
