The Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) website was hacked after the men in green were eliminated from the World Cup on Friday.

Pakistan defeated Bangladesh by 94 runs at Lord’s, but it was not enough to get them into the semi-finals as they had to triumph by over 300 runs.

With the national team having failed to make the last four, the board’s website was hacked. According to an image posted on the site, CrashRulers claimed it was responsible for it.

“To bring up the average five persons in your family, you [partake in] corruption. Corruption might lead to temporary happiness but kills the right of Pakistan’s awam (People). How you will [fare] at judgement day? We’re onto you [SIC],” a message on the site said as quoted by cricketpakistan.com.pk.
