Pakistan will need a miracle to qualify for the World Cup semi-finals as they will need to beat Bangladesh by an mind-blowing margin at Lord’s on Friday.
Basically put, if Pakistan score 350, they will have to bowl Bangladesh out for a measly 34, according to Saj Sadiq on Twitter.
If they amass 400 runs, they will somehow have to skittle Bangladesh out for 84.
But, if Bangladesh win the toss and choose to bat first, the men in green will have no chance of qualifying for the semi-finals.
So this is what Pakistan need to do to qualify for the semi-finals:
If Pakistan make 350, they need to bowl Bangladesh out for 38
If Pakistan score 400, they need to bowl Bangladesh out for 84
If Bangladesh bat first, there is no chance of Pakistan qualifying#CWC19 #PAKvBAN— Saj Sadiq (@Saj_PakPassion) July 3, 2019
If that happens, New Zealand will go through instead of them.
With Pakistan facing a near-impossible task to get into the last four, they will no doubt put everything on the line and aim to be at their very best when they clash with Bangladesh on Friday.
