Former West Indies pace bowler Michael Holding believes that the legendary Pakistan pace duo of Wasim Akram and Waqar Younis the advantage of bowling fast yorkers.
Holding noted that Akram and Waqar made life even more difficult for the batsmen as they also had the ability to swing the ball.
As a result, they became almost unplayable and a nightmare for any batsman if they bowled a swinging yorker.

“If the ball is swinging it’s even worse for the batsmen as Waqar Younis and Wasim Akram showed the world,” Holding was quoted as saying by Saj Sadiq on Twitter when talking about the benefit of bowling quick, toe-crunching yorkers.
Pakistan’s next World Cup match will be against Australia in Taunton on Wednesday.
